(Tue 10/22/02 10:47:37 PM): they're getting rid of yahoo Messenger, send this message to everyone in ur messenger by right clicking on the group name and then clicking send a message to this group. Each person u send it to counts as a signature on a petition. If they get 1,000,000 signatures they'll leave yahoo messenger ................If they don't get enough then you'll have to pay $10.00 a month to use yahoo!!!!! So if you care or even if u don't please send it to everyone!!!!! Lets not let them do this and
please send this to everyone on your list!!!!!!
i don't understand how people can be so innocent and/or moronic to believe such texts to be true. if it's your first time receiving such messages, you ought to be forgiven as long as you don't do it again, but if the person has been online for at least several months, it's incomprehensible how they can still be so moronic to believe these things to be true. common sense would tell you that the above message isn't true at all.
and still people believe such bullshit and continue mass-sending it to other people's mailboxes, trapping even more innocent people and/or MORONS to forward such unnecessary junk that will pop up suddenly on top of their precious desktop real estate. As you can see from the msg above, it's been going through 4 people, 5 including me but i assure u every single goddam chain email and texts that comes through me, ends with me.
i have deleted hundreds, possibly thousands of chain emails that comes to me, filled with threats that doesn't worth mentioning, and guess what, i'm still alive and well. and i'm still alive to diss those chain email creators. come on, get a life! yes, the world is filled with innocent and easily-scared people but that's not an excuse to fücking create these fücking chain emails and texts and FLOOD me with it! to add insult to injury (after falling from the stairs, got hit by the falling stairs, slipped on the floor and landing face first), it's coming from people who ain't even from my own friend list! (i've deleted her centuries ago)
i can never understand why people can't see the obvious and just press the delete button. why do they have to forward it? i have replied to dozens of people pleading them to stop forwarding but guess what, my efforts were in vain and i'm not going to waste my effort anymore. it's excusable if the forwarded messages contain meaningful jokes or stories, but things like this...... where has common sense gone to?!!?
