oh, i forgot to mention that i inadvertently joined the s@lsa class last friday. i was there just to "check it out" and whaddaya know, i end up signing it up. pretty good marketing fellas there... :P they asked me to join the class, "not enough people" they say, and the next thing i knew i was pulling out greens from my wallet to pay for the class. well, this marks my first entry into the world of s@lsa.
the classes is held in el nino, a latino pub in the heart of KL. ain't exactly within the heart, surrounded by other pubs, coz it's kind of far off from the crowd of hotspots.. this pub charges a cover charge of RM 45 when others (even beach club) charges around RM 25. pretty daring. but they cater to different people, i guess, live band with latino music and stuff.
pretty exotic world, i would say. classes are held 7pm to 8 or 9pm, and after classes, normally they will go down to the pub, and then have a great time there, either dancing, practising what they just learned or look at people dancing, with lots of smoke and booze. i'm beginning to think that i'm gonna die of second hand smoke there.. (that's what i told one of the girls there anyway). *mentally makes note : stay away from the girls who chain smoke* hehe
from what i see, out of the first-day impression there, it seems like it's an entirely different world than what i'm used to. they hug casually, they do cheek-kiss (whatever u call it), etc etc.. hmm, i wonder whether i'll be able to blend it.. i'm kinda shy u know ...
