sometimes i thank God i'm chinese.

one of those occasions are those when you take a ride in a taxi late at night, when the taxi driver would tell you how they will pick up chinese passengers, but never an indian or a malay. never mind about a group of them, them taxi drivers will floor the pedal when they see a group of indians.

i'm not being prejudiced, i have ample friends of both races. it's just that, in most cases, taxi robberies were done by indians, and there are like so many "strategies". a group of them get into the taxi, one take out a knife. a group of them get into the taxi, the one behind the driver takes out a rope and pull it across his neck. one of the get into the taxi, ask the driver to bring him to a secluded place, where there is another 7 waiting, etc etc.

and a lot of taxi drivers told me they aren't afraid of chinese passengers at all, even those with tattoos and stuff. but with indians, even the ones well-dressed, them taxi drivers won't pick them up. gosh, i wonder how those people are going to get taxis late at night....

oh, did i mention the one that told me this early this morning was an indian? an indian scared of indians... but not chinese.. hmmm
