i was faced with a critical dilemma yesterday. no kidding. very critical.
i was forced to choose whether to go back home after work at 7pm or go to my s@lsa class. hehe. yeah, it might not be important to you but it was a critical dilemma. my instructor called me and asked me to go, and i said yeah i'll be there. at 6pm i felt like going back and rest or watch vcd that i decided against going to class. but then, i can't help but wonder why at 8pm i found myself at el nino joining my s@lsa friends attending the class. :p
yesterday's class was a rueda class, not a typical s@lsa dance. in rueda, it's still done in couples, but every couple dance together, the same steps. these couples face each other (like duh :p) forming a circle, and an instructor will give out instructions for all the couples to follow, what moves, how many times, etc etc... u will hear words like "da-me", "en-chu-fle", "en-chu-fle dou-ble", "fa-ci-la", etc... etc...
i must say, my decision to go to the class was a good one. it was my second rueda class, and i was reluctant to go at first. having a headache, i don't really feel like learning anything new yesterday. but gosh, luckily i went to class. yesterday's class was superb! hehe. it was a refreshment to my first class which took place about 3 weeks ago, plus a few other moves.... good music, extremely sporting people, and a cool instructor .. wow, i would want to go to class again! it wouldn't be nice if there wasn't so many people though.
i got to know new people as well yesterday. there is these 2 girls who learnt s@lsa in new york. talk about going global. i didn't know LA-style s@lsa is taught there too. well, new york is definitely nearer to LA than malaysia ;)
think i'll be going to class again today :p. no classes for me this whole month coz i'm in improvers, and this whole month seems to cater only to beginners. i haven't been to class for 2 weeks, so ..... no excuses. practise, practise, PRACTISE!!
and today i'm faced with another critical dilemma. should i go back to hometown to gamble with friends (cny coming mar XP) or should i stay in KL and spend money playing warcraft for 7 hours straight in subang this weekend? to think that i only have rm 400 left for the whole next month after playing santa to my credit card company, my landlady (if u're reading this beng, no offense XP) and a bunch of other people, this is real dilemma. i'd be using money both ways. lots of it.
