finally i start blogging again after a long "holiday". hehe.
well, it was sort of a holiday in the real life sense. i took a long leave.... 10 days to be exact, from Thursday, before Hari Raya to the recent Sunday. hehe. totally r&r in hometown (rest n relax).
i can't think of anything to say nor share. there's so much i would want to say but i just don't feel like saying. i guess it feels the same like when u're beside your soulmate, with everything in the world to say, but ended up saying nothing cause you don't know where to start. then u give a lame excuse to yourself to justify your actions : "silence can be romantic at times". blergh.
it looked like it was gonna rain outside, so rather than waiting for a taxi to join a fren for dinner before going to bangsar, i walked back to office, knowingly i would be the only one left, yet again. and frankly, the reason why i'm here blogging is coz i'm waiting for my perl-5.8.0 distro to finish it's make sequence so that i can continue with make test and make install so that after that i can recompile the mod_perl so that the darn apachemp3 could work and i can start a new mp3 lifestyle in office rather than streaming it from nearby computers like what we're currently doing right now. if any of the above don't make any sense to u, don't bother reading it back. it won't make any sense at all.
still, my company and colleagues will benefit if this new stuff works. hehe. imagine lah.. currently when a colleague comes here to work during weekends, 3 computers will be turned on just for 1 person. why? 1 for doing work, 1 for playing mp3, 1 because most of the mp3s are stored there. so A is for doing work, and B is for playing mp3s which reside on C, which requires 3 computers to be turned ON for 1 person. with this new stuff i bet the company will save tonnes in electricity. hehe.
my colleagues can drool on the cool factor.
hehe. i know, i know. self praise is no praise. this is meant to be a personal blog, no? i'm telling this to myself, no? anybody reading this? i suppose not. not guilty verdict then. ;)
