two days ago, i bought a book entitled "Fermat's Enigma". It's an interesting book about fermat's last theorem, and about mathematics told in a very exciting way. while reading the book at 2am this morning (before i slept), i came across this riddle in the book.
say on a scale, (like the scale in the UMNO logo)
u only need 4 weighs in order to weigh 1kg to 40kg (means every single 1kg, 2kg ,3kg ....)
can u find out the weight of the 4 weighs?
i got the answer, but i haven't had the chance to go back and tally it with the answer in the appendix (coz the book at home and i'm at office now :p). my dear readers, can u find out the answer?
