today has been quite an interesting day. when i went into the bathroom to brush my teeth this morning, there was this nice breeze that blew at me. wow. i knew this is a start to a great day!
that was 9.30am. so u could guess i was late for work, again. this is getting to me man. waking up late has become some sort of an addiction. u know it's bad for u, u want to get rid of it, but u just can't. u just lie there, stare at the ceiling, trying your best to get back to your dream coz it seems to feel much better than reality, trying your best to stay in that neurotic mode forever but you realize that suddenly..... it's 9.30am. u're late! so u got up, get to the bathroom and there was this nice, almost hypnotic breeze blowing at u ....
......
wow.
anyways, i didn't get caught yet again. evilly, i plotted against routine. i orchestrated a change in my schedule, and headed to the customer's place instead. muahahaha. managed to shield myself from getting caught again. *evil grin*.
the ride to customer's place in the KTM was cool. i shared the 4-seater seat with 3 nice old lads, a guy and 2 ladies. the guy is very friendly, asking me all sorts of questions and making me feel ashamed of myself not knowing hokkien nor "zhao zou" although my parents are fluent at them. yup, he got too friendly up to the part where he asked how many "cockroaches" (he meant girlfriends) i have. the ladies stopped him, telling him that i wouldn't know what it means, but he kept on saying that i'm a university student lah, smart enough lah, blah blah yadda yadda (how many u have? 2? 5? lost count? sure got a lot one-lah blah blah yadda yadda). pretty interesting fellows. i hate to disappoint him with the answer "none" so i just shrugged and smiled. hehe.
on the way back to office, i took the KTM again. while waiting for the KTM, there was this interesting girls getting to know a japanese girl who's studying here. the jap girl has been here for half a year and surprisingly, she knows malay quite well. wow. the chinese girls talked to her in malay, sometimes in japanese (the chinese girl been taking jap classes for 2 years, managed to form a few sentences). i was sitting very near them so it wasn't my intention to eavesdrop. they're disturbing my newspaper reading. can't help eavesdropping :p. plus by listening to them, i get a much heartening laugh rather than reading the news about the recurrence of the M16 that robbed the jewellery shops in jalan ampang _which_ got cordoned off by police _which_ caused the traffic jam yesterday _which_ the hot-and-humid bus i was in got stuck at. if only... if only... if only i was 2 hours earlier in getting back home.......... i could've seen the robbery taking place. damn. that would've been a hoot.
