the SARS paranoia here ain't that bad.. yet. i was in the LRT just now, and i saw 2 persons holding tissue/handkerchief to their noses. that's all. other than that, everybody else is like normal. but i suspect there *are* people who's scared, since i was having a runny nose on my way back to KL yesterday, and this lady who sat on the far end (far from me) opposite the LRT seats i was sitting at, stood up and moved to another section of the train. oh well.
just now in the LRT i saw this *TALL* beautiful girl, at least 6'2". it could've been 6' 5", but probably that's how i'd like to imagine it. she looks local but the other girl she was with was foreign, and as tall as her. she is *so* tall that when i'm standing in front of her facing her, rather than facing her face, my face would be facing her ... errm.. *ahem* never mind. so tall n cun. ish.
back to the topic, i was at the MAS ticket counter to change the dates of me and my colleague's tickets to taiwan.
cun receptionist : aren't u afraid?
me : huh? oh... err, i was going to tell my boss that it's dangerous when he suddenly told me, "hey, i'm going to singapore" -__-
cun receptionist : *laughs*
hmmm. can't say anything more.
elderly friendly ang moh tourist with his wife next to me : where're u heading to?
me : taipei
him : aren't u scared?
me : errr, scared, but what to do. boss asked me to go.
him : u working there?
me : no, i'm just going to do a presentation there, for about 2 days.
him : no, no, i mean are u working around here in KL?
me : yup, working in KL.
*cun receptionist hands me the ticket*
me : (to receptionist) ah, thanks. (to friendly tourist) cya~
hmm. it gets to the ang moh ppl too. i wonder where those friendly ppl are heading to.
