my room was nearly raped by a bee this morning. when i came out of the bathroom, dressed only in a piece of cloth, i saw this "thing" hovering above my bed. a closer look tells me it's a... (oh no!) a bee! it might be poisonous, it might be not but i'm not gonna risk having to go to a hospital and ruin an otherwise beautiful start of the week.
and so i got dressed (the bee was beginning to touch nearly every part of my room, and i stayed near the cupboard and door, preparing to flee if attacked) and when i'm more decently dressed and able to flee out of my room without embarassing myself, i waited (in peace) for the bee to find its way out.
but it didn't. it just hovered and played around with my room. it seems like teasing me, hovering near the window but never seem to find its way out. after 15 minutes, i was desperate. i didn't want to be late for work and i haven't even ironed my shirt yet. it's just hovering above my ironing board! and then it stopped on my curtain holder and just stayed there, an inch away from the window, as if it's teasing me. "nyah nyah, u can't get to work coz i'm inside your room and i'm not getting out". bitch. so i decided to take action. looking around, i saw this pair of slippers i took from the hotel in taiwan (still wrapped in plastic), and flung it to the bee.
i missed.
i can't believe i missed by a mile. dammit.
however, the good news is, the bee got the hint, lowered itself for about one feet and flew out. huzzah!
and so i got to work at 10am. -_-;; oh well, at least it's not 11am. to top it off, i managed to catch breakfast with colleagues too. huzzah!
