actually, this entry is supposed to be a glorious entry, with me reporting how i managed to set up the demo properly while losing my sleep, but instead here i am reporting the bad news. i lose my sleep, yes, and i'm still in yesterday's clothes, but furthermore, i screwed up. instead of properly setting it up, i crashed the whole database, making my senior colleague lose his sleep in order to solve the problem. problem is partially solved, yes, but some of the demo can't work, and the ones that can't work appears to be the important part of the demo. i guess it'll be a long, cold journey for me to regain their trust, from whatever little's left, if there's any. i still don't know why it happened, very very weird. i've been working with it for so long, and this kind problem never happened. and i'm doing the exact things i did all along without glitches, apparently, it screwed up just before the demo. very funny how murphy's law strikes sometimes.
