thursday

the week didn't start off nicely. social communications stuff. it's very hard to be efficient and at the same time, appear to be "hardworking" to some people. it seems like history is repeating itself, in my ex-company, i kinda got a screwing from a senior coz i seemed to be "too free". but the thing is that i was delivering work *before* deadline, wayyyy before deadline. how could i be lazing around then? i made it clear to him saying that it's my style of working, and when i do something, i'm very focused and i'm able to finish it quickly. but after that i will give some time for myself to chill, i can't run 24 hours without stopping. i work in short outbursts of extreme efficency. an hour of true focus from me is the equivalent of a day's work by any other person (that's what i like to think anyway, hehe). i told my senior that he can screw me if i look too free and didn't deliver, but it's not right to screw me if i'm actually delivering results. anyways, my senior and managers have learned enough (or trusted me enough) to leave me with my own things (assign a job to me, and leave me alone to finish it), even up to the extent of not asking me the status of the job at all, which probably indicates that my performance is acceptable. to me, i always deliver, but to whoever's watching, it seemed that i'm doing nothing, which of course, is an illusion since i multitask a lot.

or maybe i'm really doing nothing at all. muahaha.

*looks at watch* oh! time to make milo. yay.

*scurries off*
