my ex-boss just called me, trying to find out whether the rumours she heard is true.
ex-boss : hey, u working with m3s1n1aga now?
me : err. i am? how come i didn't know that? why leh?
ex-boss : hehehe. no lah, just curious, want to find out. i heard that fadzli is working with them and you're considering..
me : huh? i'm considering? hmm, that's new. i didnt' even know that i'm considering. now only i know...
after some phone calls, it's confirmed that my ex-colleague hasn't even accepted the offer. i told my ex-boss the facts and that i'm not even in the "considering" mode and ask her to be careful of her source. yes, they called and offered me a hefty sum but that was like 2 months ago. i didn't like that kind of job (system job, contract, not permanent) and i was negotiating with my current company, so i wasn't really enthusiastic. but i never said i was considering.
after i sms her, she called again.
ex-boss : u sure?
me : yup, first hand news.
ex-boss : but the news come from [censored - confidential] team itself!
me : my news came directly from involved parties, who do u think is more accurate ;)
wonder why such a big company release such news. hmm, maybe they want to give the impression they got experienced manpower in their [censored - confidential] team. the rumours is that they got very low manpower in that particular team currently.
