wat the hell... i'm blabbering. that seems to rhyme though...
ok. nuff said. weekend was decidingly better than the weekdays. i pissed my boss off coz i'm a sucky employee, but i don't give a damn. why? because i'm a sucky employee, that's why. and enough is enough with my boss and colleagues. it's really terrible when you're being misled with misinformation and ended up wasting your time and achieve nothing. i asked around and ppl say no this doesn't work on xp, i say "hey ppl i need win2k". another say "oh, this one can install on xp why do u want win2k for. bend ur backs a bit and try to solve it (undermining me)". wtf? fine, i install on xp and wasted 2 days when another person says "huh? xp home? no it doesn't work on xp home, it only works on xp pro". grr. fine, u said it works on xp but u didn't say it's xp pro and my new pc came with xp home do u expect me to actually find out it's xp pro? can't u be a bit more precise and not waste my time and at the same time insult me in the cc emails? fine, i reinstall on xp pro every single huge enterprise applications and got it working when suddenly client comes back and say "oh i want to use the new version".
the new version doesn't work on xp.

i end up using win2k back. i told my boss "boss, i beg u pls let me do my work. just let me use win 2k. pls. don't torture me with all those installing and reinstalling again." and i got my wish. and everything goes "whoosh". if only i had followed my own gut feel.
oh that's not enough. here's more.
me : "i need this visual studio cd to install. can i have the keys to the cabinet and get it?"
boss : "no the cd is with the secretary"
me : "u sure?"
boss : "yes get it from her"
i need it really urgently and i called her and she said cd is with her and i ask her to bring the cd. she brought the cd during lunch and i see the box. i look in the box and there's a lot of cds but there's no visual studio.

i say, do u remember taking the cds with u? no? hmm.. can u bring it to me from office (which is very far from my client's place). no? u can't? ok then i go with u and take.
went all the way there (45 mins) and during that my client called, urgently needing me, and i said i'm out of city centre and will need an hour to come back coz i need the cds urgently and will be back as soon as possible. client said "pls pls come back asap" i said "ok as soon as i get the cds".
when i reach there, there was no cds.
??
i called back office and TOLD my colleague to check no matter what the boss says.
the cds was there.
and i rushed all the way back, worrying about how the client will kill me and how he's sharpening the knives the whole hour waiting for me, just to get a CD in the cabinet in the first place.
if only i had listened to my gut feel and checked the cabinet.
i don't think i'll 100% trust them again.
and weekend is better coz i work from midday till midnite on saturday and sunday and i don't take no shit from anyone. no, sir. no shit from anyone, just my own facts and gut feel.
