charity supper

i never heard of a charity supper before :p. but that's exactly what i went for on saturday, a charity supper for l@dy s@lsa at gent|ng. our dance school were invited to perform there, and therefore our just-formed performance group gets a chance to perform and gain valuable performance. i so happened to be a member in the group, but that does not mean in any way that i'm a good dancer. you know lah, normally we dance in the dark in l@tin pubs, so nobody can really see that i actually dance like a peking duck. ^_^

*ahem* jokes aside, when we reached there on saturday nite at 9pm, and i got a glance at the dining hall, the first i said was, "people, let me be the first to say this. oh shit."

it was HUGE.

o_O

really huge, and there was like hundreds of tables! i felt like dying there and then....

but then all of us kinda got sick of being nervous, we completely forgot that we're nervous and went out and dance anyway. after that, the music was on all night long till about 3am, and people just got down to the dance floor (*very* long dance floor) and dance. it's like you know, a huge hall, divided into two sides full with tables, and there is a long lane from the main door to the stage? yeah, they use that longgggg lane as the dance floor. and there was a mixture of crowds, old as well as young, and there was ballroom dance music too, so you can see loads and loads of people on the dance floor. v. nice :)

the music was soooo cub@n, soooooo good! a bit fast tho (bad for beginners who hasn't got the rhythm yet), but really good! nothing beats live band music!

oh, and free flow of beer! muahahaahahhahahaha
