but i guess i'll blog since i can't do at office. stupid admins blocked access to nearly every blog i go to (they're accurate!! only those that i frequent!) etc etc. yes minishorts you're blocked too. yes beng you're blocked too. yes everybody else on my links you're blocked too. but other ppl who's not my list weren't blocked, so i think there is double standards here..... and joe-blogs were blocked rite after i surfed there - probably because of the bare-breast lady in taiwan parliamentary fight pic on his main page yesterday.
*sigh*
back to topic, i find that this competition thingy has been a learning experience to me. no i'm not in that kind of oh-i'm-going-through-a-learning-phase-all-of-you-please-read-anthony-robbins trance, so please, don't brand me that way. it really is an out of ordinary learning experience.
my instructor says that, out of 10 couples, 9 argue. and you're lucky if you're still dancing together after that. well i had my share of experience. 2 days ago we nearly argued big time. i walked away just like that. oh well, i was being a bitch. she was being a bitch too :P. anyways, today everything seemed good, and she seemed to still want to finish choreographing the song with me, and talked about choreographing other songs too (i want!!!). yay.
ok lah, facts aside, i think my instructor is right. when you participate in a competition, both of you are partners, and you guys have to talk things out, be honest to each other, and look out for each other. it's really difficult to be honest to each other and yet still look out for each other, because it's like balancing a balloon on a bed of roses, only there's 1 rose, the balloon is up there and the rest is thorns. even among friends, unsolicited comments are uncalled for, and sometimes you can't help but comment when you're partners and you're taking part in a competition together. arguments are bound to happen, IMHO unless you're either really compatible or one of you just don't give a damn.
but i do, and she does.. so we argue :). for a good cause, and it's good coz both of us cared. (ok maybe some of you would think she's my gf. no she's not and when i say we cared i mean we cared about the competition, not about each other. ;))
and that's what matters most. (for a competition. it's not what you're thinking about ;))
sms from me : sorry for being a bitch the other night.
sms from her hours later : huh? when?
