this is one of the rare windows of opportunity for me to blog from work ever since the administrators blocked most of my access to blogs. although i can still view them, it is extremely slow and i can't see tagboards, nor can i post messages.
so i'll just blog my heart's out before this window runs out :p
ok, weekend was hectic. practised, went for a housewarming, practised, chilled, celebrated birthday (gluttony is sin, especially when it's chocolate cake. twice!) etc etc. hmm, not much time to rest but maybe next weekend i'll opt for a quieter one :)
what i have been doing at work this week.. it's rollout time, so team leader and client is very busy. that leaves me with nothing but time, free CPU cycles and bandwidth. i surfed, downloaded some windows media type files, researched on encoding/decoding media files, encoded those files to DAT (vcd) type and burning it so that i can watch on a vcd player, ripped some dvd, researched on how to convert them to vcd format, etc etc. and suddenly i'm running out of space on my 30 GB hdd. damn.
earlier today went out for a shopping spree, hunting for CD-Rs. dropped by at low yatt, and suddenly got attracted to this vcd shop, like a magnet. i consciously try to walk away but in a blink of an eye i was inside, trapped. videos all around me, and i can't will myself out so i decided to just browse instead.

didn't feel like buying the vcds coz they were quite expensive.. and old. was happy that i'm finally able to save some money when i spotted animes!!! goddam!!!!!! it's studio ghib|i!!! shit. i *had* to buy them. I HAD TO BUY THEM!!!!
bought 2 of it that i haven't watched (i watched princess mononoke, nausicaa and kiki's delivery service b4), and if i like them, i'm returning for more!!!! yay! this is just like reminiscence of uni days!
