ok, i have this 2 very good friends in the dancing scene, let's call them S and M. and this conversation took place in a very noisy place, music blaring and stuff. i can't exactly remember how it went, but it goes something like this..
S: hey, u know we'm trying to match u up with some girls
me: huh? why lar... no need lah
S: no no, we have to take care of you, we're like family you know
me: -__-;;
S: i tried to matchmake you with this girl.. what's her name..
me: huh? who?
S: ah.. (name of girl). you like her or not?
me: her? eh, she got bf already lah
S: i don't know that.. she didn't tell me
me: i dunno.. i think they started quite recently. and you know what, these days i'm kind of interested in this one girl, but it's just a little spark lah..
M: who is she? anybody we know?
me: nope, you guys don't know her
S: which girl is this? is it (name of girl)?
me: no, she's not here tonight
M: ah i know i know, it's that doctor girl
me: huh?
S: huh?
M: that one.. that doctor.. what's her name
me: (name of girl) izzit.. no lah! not her!!!
S: then who is it.. is she around here? *looks around*
me: no lah, she's not here tonight. it's easy to know who i like you know
M: ya ya, i know how to find out. i can see it in your eyes *makes gesture of eye looking at chest area*
[ editor's note: yup, we like to joke like that because most guys dance looking down at the floor, which basically means either (i) low confidence or (ii) very technical dancer. but we like to tease them that they're looking at the girl's breasts.. so when we see a guy dancing and looking at the floor, we'll shout : hey! stop looking at her breasts! LOL ]
S: haha!
me: haha! no no, that's not the way. the way to find out the girl that i like ah.. when u see i dance with a girl, and i don't look at her breasts, but her eyes instead. *makes gestures eye looking in the eye* haha!
M: *laughs* you're not going to dance with my girlfriend anymore.
