IMEI urban legend

who says you can block a phone using IMEI if your phone got stolen? that's an urban legend man... can't believed i was suckered into it.

called max|s :

"sorry sir, we can't do anything. the network doesn't detect the IMEI. perhaps you can call up your phone company."

called nok|a :

"sorry sir, there's nothing we can do. probably we can send out the IMEI to all the networks, and if (*IF*) they keep track of the IMEI numbers you would probably be able to get back your phone. but again they don't do that."

-__-;;;

so much for getting back at the person who stole my phone. ARGH! well at least i tried :P
