yup. i will talk about my travel to s'pore. stop yawning already, ok.
alrite. let's see. i took the 3pm bus on friday to s'pore. reached there (centre, i think) about 8.15pm. have to pass an envelope to my colleague, so took a taxi to the company apts (where i'll be staying), and found out that the apts is ALL THE WAY to the west (near the airport), and my next destination (a dance studio) is ALL THE WAY to the south!
making a big triangle, and wasting a lot of money in the process. never mind, never mind. lesson in life. *scribble*scribble*
reached the place early, so i decided to get a grub first. everything looked expensive :p. i saw this noki@ shop, so i checked out to see whether they have this external FM radio thingy that is the accessory of my noki@ 6100, since the whole damn freakin' malaysia does not have the stock at all. very advanced indeed. and ho hum, to my surprise, they got the stuff!!!
it costs around s$55, and i tried to purchase it using my credit card coz i forgot to exchange s$ back in m'sia. attempt failed. tried again, failed again. hmm.. must be because i haven't been paying the bills. forget it, maybe next time.
went around hunting for food, and everything there is like... $_$ !!!! didn't want to spend so much, so i just went to the fast-food counter at jusc0 (yup, globalization makes everything look familiar), and ordered. pretty cheap.. s$2.50 only for wan tan mee. tastes bland though. cannot beat m'cca wan tan mee at all.
went ahead to the studio, saw my friend (an instructor there) and danced there for a while. the girls there are fine.. just a little bit more on the tension side... similar to girls who has heavy ballroom background... maybe they have, maybe they don't. or maybe that's the way the instructors there teach them.
we headed to x3n bar (replace 3 with 'e') next, where supposed a halloween's party is supposed to be held. when i reached there, and i caught a glimpse of the situation there, my jaw dropped!!
