thali

i dunno what does it mean nor what does it stand for, but when u go to an indian restaurant, if u order "thali" you get vegetarian meal, normally comprises of :

i) rice (yay)
ii) 3 types of veges (or beans, yay protein)
iii) resam / rasam (clear soup made of tomato + spice)
iv) dhal (yay! i always order for more)
v) some kind of dried chili (skip..)
vi) papardam (like keropok like that, nice)
vii) some kind of sour chilli which i always don't eat

very nice :). this has been my lunch diet for weeks, and i kind of like it. i'm the sort of person who stick to one kind of lunch, i remember one time i always eat this nasi goreng ayam for months on end when i was working for the previous company, and earlier, maggi goreng for weeks on end. but now, it's thali.

and something i noticed about my full-time-carnivore-turned-full-time-herbivore friends, is that once they are long into their vegetarian diet, they seem to fear eating meat.

and frighteningly, these few days, when i look at ppl eating chicken goreng, i will think, "what the hell, how can they eat that oily stuff?!?!? yuck! and all those meat... yerrrrrrrrrrr". maybe i'm developing this phobia already. *shriek!*

-__-;;

but of course, i still miss my bak kut teh :)
