these past few days has been quite stressful for me. being acting team leader, with all the responsibilities and possibilities the fact that i will be neck deep in shit for other people's crap is probably quite a challenge to deal with.
let me quote from client : "you do know that you have to bear all the responsibilities if things go wrong, do you?"
and believe me, things WILL go wrong. this is not murphy's law, this is other people's crap that i have to fix. hopefully i would have some fun before disaster struck, hehe. and the client is nice enough to ask me to be careful and keep track of things so that when things go wrong, to quote her, "u can cover your ass". yes, i'm that vulnerable, just because of my way of working. i don't give a damn whose fault it is, and i don't want to blame anybody because my objective is to get things done. sadly, having that kind of attitude, although it's good for getting things done, puts you in the spotlight when things go wrong because everything will point to you (since you're not blaming people, so it must be your fault). do i really have to play politics and piss people off to cover my ass? can't i stuff my ass with something else?
