somebody played a prank on me over the weekend. either that, or it was purely a mistake. hmm.

this happened a few times over 2 days.... same thing, different numbers, until i got really annoyed (coz i was going to start playing risk on saturday afternoon...)
phone : *ring*ring* (another different number!)
me : hullo?
other end : *silence*
me : *sounding annoyed* who are you looking for !?!
other end : *hesitating* are you providing service?
me : what service? where did you get my number?
other end : (male voice) i got your number *blur, some babbling* internet *babble* are you *blur* service?
me : huh? what internet?
other end : i got your *blur* from internet *blur* *hang up*
me : -__-;;
okayyyy... seems like he got my number from the internet.. but i didn't post it online? what the hell is happening?!?? and what service?!?!? i decided to call the previous number back to find out what's happening, but just as i was trying to dial it, it called back.
phone : *ring*ring*
me : u sure u got the right number? 01x-xxx xxxx?
other end : yeah, i got it from the internet
me : can you please tell me where on internet did you get it from?
other end : oh, i got it from #kls3x (convert 3 to 'e'. i don't want to get searches from google) channel in IRC, saying that anybody feeling lonely and wants company can call this number.
me : err, sorry but you get the wrong number. thanks.
other end : okay.
shit. this is really bad. it's probably a genuine mistake.. but then it could be prank or revenge. but who?
p.s. the calls kept continuing till sunday. it stopped yesterday, and hopefully that's the last of it.
[update] as soon as i posted this msg, another one of these calls came in. guess i said it too soon...
