a nice thing happened recently. one day few weeks back, on my way to work, i was getting out of the ERL at the cyberj@ya terminal and walking out for the bus. i had a shock. there was a queue waiting for the bus!
why the shock? very simple. because before this, there has never been a queue. people were always scrambling around the door, trying to get in first.
but that day, that historic day, there was a queue.
and until today, for about 3 or 4 weeks already, everybody lined up, no matter who it is at the front. :)
see? somebody just have to start it. and after that it'll be an unwritten rule.
i wonder why. i wonder whether "the tipping point" (a book on marketing, which theorizes about having a sudden change in community behaviour somewhere that "tips" the economic/marketing/trend balance) applies here.
whatever it is, it's a wonderful, civilized thing.
