the weekend that was

was over at s'pore again during the weekend. went there on sat, came back on sunday. damn tiring -__-

checked out this place called lemp|cka near the mohd su|tan street (the area with lotsa pubsss), which is just next to this bar called "coyot3 ugly". probably they got bar top dancing inside *drool*. i nearly strayed inside if not for her pulling me away. damn. will attempt again next time.

the lemp|cka place has really really really (ok, 3 times already) really REALLY (5th) nice ambience, and excellent dance floor! the bad side? no crowd. i wonder why the crowds like to go to smokey places and lousy dance floor places but not this place. hmm, maybe it'll take quite some time for the regulars to start coming to this place. the drinks a bit expensive though.. ordered 5 drinks, that's s$50. cough. cannot complain though, 4 of the drinks are mine :D

i came at the worst possible time. it just so happens that a s@lsa instructor who normally gives classes at the place on saturday couldn't make it. i mean, well we're looking forward to try out the class for fun ;). and even worse, the colombian DJ couldn't make it too! argh, talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. and the replacement DJ doesnt' even know what is bachata! imagine the frustration... no bachata!

ah well oh well. there were loads of ang mohs at that place, and there were like 5 or 6 tables (nicely designed seats at that!), all filled with ang mohs. think my table is the only table with asians there, and the only table with girls ;). probably that's the reason why the ang mohs kept looking over at our table.

oh, and also kept coming over (okay, just 3 times) asking both the girls for a dance. after acknowledging me, of course.
