ok, maybe not just that. i met up with insight (@s'pore for work) and his sis (@s'pore for a trip) on saturday and we went to the LOTR exhibition at the science centre. magnificent swords! i want! the only grouch is that they're not sharp enough. i want swords that's so sharp when u rub your finger slightly at the blade you would wince and shed blood. where's the 500-fold katanas when u want 'em..
ooh ooh and we went to the marche at c|ty hall too! it's some kind of restaurant that uses a "market" kind of concept, where u buy food and scan your barcode (everybody's given a small paper card with a barcode). then when u leave they scan your card again and you pay the amount you have to pay. hmm, interesting concept.
then at night insight n sis went back to hotel while me and gf went to this "highest bar in s'pore" (they're really high up at 80 storeys high). not to mention, damn bloody high-priced too. for the ambience and environment, the first drink cover charge of s$20 (RM 44+) per person is quite worth it. however, an extra bottle of beer at s$15 (RM 36+) totally puts me off. after the place got too crowded at around midnite (lots and lots of ang mohs and girls on their girls-night-out), we left the place to go to our usual s@lsa spot, pic above.
