doing nothing

kenshin's going to show on the anime channel here in 5 mins. so before i get distracted... let's just talk.

(one way talk. hoho!)

i'm kind of a blog addict/surfer like all of u. come on, don't deny it. why are you here in the first place? ;)

ok, so, after visiting a few blogs that day, i get the impression that people like to say that they like to do nothing. wow, what a mouthful. let's try that again. people like to say that they like to do nothing.

the thing is, i don't quite understand how can people like doing nothing. i mean, i dunno.. probably it's too soon for me to say this (still quite fresh in the career line, about 3 years), but if one week goes with me doing nothing, i'd feel so useless.

yup, there's like so many things out there to learn, to find out, and to explore and what, i'm there doing nothing? WTF? in gaming terms, there's still so many quests to be solved, and so so much more quests to find out about, so how can i actually tolerate doing nothing?

but then, with so many things yet to be accomplished, there's a whole new issue of how we actually find time for all these, of how we actually allocate our time for all these, and at the same time not get stressed.

now, that's when getting things done comes into picture. quoting david allen, "Your sense of 'responsibility' is a function of your response ability. I learned that in karate. Your ability to generate power is directly proportional to your ability to relax. The power of a karate punch comes from speed, not muscle. And a tense muscle is a slow muscle."

sounds good to me! :D

woops, kenshin started liao. ciao!
