i went to tagaytay for lunch yesterday. not really for travelling, it's for work. the place is like freaking 2 hours away, was ready to work but then business partner says we should go for lunch first. so went to tagaytay, had a nice lunch at delcios, with a great view.
when we first reached, i exclaimed "are we at the beach?" (coz i saw water, and u know, philippines are basically a cluster of islands).
the business partner said, "no, we're at mountains". i was like, what? i thought i saw water, but they, maybe it's my illusion. i need glasses, dammit. my near-sightedness is misleading me, judging from how i had to squint during a presentation the day before. the good: it buys me time, damn good when i'm nervous. the bad: i really can't see the damn projection on the screen. the ugly: people laugh at u. but hey, laughter during presentations are a good thing, rite? at least it's not monotonous.
when i had a good look behind the restaurant, (we're like sitting at an area beside a cliff, so it really has a good view), apparently i really did see water after all. it's not sea, it's a lake. and it's a lake in a volcano crater. there's a small volcano in the center, and it's active. according to the ppl there, it's the smallest active volcano in the world.
