around 3 weeks ago i was rushing to buy something in midvalley when this older guy (looks around 40 yrs old) kind of gave me a hi-i-know-you look.
i was shocked, and embarassed because i have no inkling of WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUY.
anyways, since i'm polite *cough* (not true), and friendly (... definitely not), i stopped to say hi to him, and his friend who looks around 30 yrs old. i said i can't remember you, sorry, then when he told me the industry he worked in it seemed like i really could've met him before. fucking shameful of myself.
if u remember, i was rushing just now, so i politely say that i have to go. he asked for my phone number, so i gave it out of courtesy. he gave a missed call, i ignored it, thinking it would be the last. which is quite normal, coz i don't have guy friends/acquaintances calling me up for nothing. plus, I AM NOT FRIENDLY.
he called a week later, i said, what's up, he went a bit blur, paused, and then said, oh, you're busy? never mind, call u next time then and hang up. wtf? now that's "polite".
he called again yesterday, and asked me fai wa questions (beating around the bush kind of stuff) that is none of his business. things like, "hey, where are you? oh, u're going back malacca? when are you back? oh, u're malaccan? why are u going back? aren't u working tomorrow? how come u're not working tomorrow?", stuffs like that. i mean, come on, get straight to the point. u're not a girl you don't call me up for just a chat unless u're a close friend. and i thought we males normally get to the point instead of dilly dallying. well at least i do - get straight to the point i mean. anyways, to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR why i'm behaving like this in case u guys go "hey he's just being friendly lah give him a break", i don't even KNOW this guy! so why does what revolves around my life matter to him? i finally asked, "so, what's up?"
apparently he wants to meet up. for whatever reasons, i don't know. i said i don't know when i'm going back to kl, and he said "never mind lah, call me when u're back, then maybe we can meet up after that".
