am at a business partner's place today, and saw this guy selling stuff for tea time outside the pantry. he's just standing there, with a cart of banana cakes and pisang goreng-like stuff with him for sale. the first time i went into the pantry, i ignored the stuffs, then went back to my place and work.
an hour later, i went back and saw him still standing there, and that got me thinking. back in m'sia, in a customer site, they have vendors selling food on cart during breakfast/lunch/tea time too. but they don't just stand at one place, instead they go to every floor, going all around peddling their food and drinks. that way you can cover the entire building using only a few carts.
but what i saw today is pretty much inefficient. having to have one person standing at one floor peddling stuffs for one department, means that u'll need dunno how many for the whole building, and if you don't have enough persons, means food unsold.
