this is what my final year thesis (back in 2001) was all about. honour system in selling artists' products - music or books. finally someone is doing it. i thought my idea was kinda lame back then, and didn't deserve the A it got. so now, i guess my professor should be happy in awarding me the A for the thesis :)
mine was a bit different though, although the concept is the same, trusting customers to pay as they like for the end product. of course my thesis is more detailed that this, but it was more than 4 years ago and i can't exactly remember how it went in detail (except that i got an A for it :P). i think i zoomed in on books, although i did mention that it can be applied to music too. too bad it (the thesis) is not available online, else i could've linked to it. stupid university.
