yup, i'm in salt lake city, utah. this city is surrounded by mountains, and.. and.. dang i'm not much of a good writer. i'll just let the pics do the talking.
my flight to utah was delayed, so my colleague and i took a stroll around des moines, iowa. this is the river that flows through the city. a REAL river, not the teh tarik river we have back home.

and yesterday, it snowed in utah! apparently snow doesn't happen very often in the city (it's normal in the mountains of course), so the people were like, hey u guys getting used to the snow yet? when we told them we came from iowa they shut themselves up good. :P
